Automotive Transformation Scheme
SYDNEY, Australia - November 26th, 2010
Your business may be eligible for a cash payment of 15 per cent of the value of investment in Plant & Equipment through the Automotive Transformation Scheme run by Ausindustry (Australian Government).
Eligible companies include*:
- motor vehicle and automotive component producers
- automotive machine tool and automotive tooling producers, and
- automotive service providers.
Computer hardware and software is allowable “Plant and Equipment” if used for the manufacture, design, development or engineering of motor vehicles, engines, automotive components, automotive machine tools or tooling. Examples include:
- supply of materials to an assembly line, movement of components or sub-assemblies, quality assurance testing, any other processing to create a saleable automotive or vehicle product.
- motor vehicle ordering and inventory control systems
- purchasing systems for goods or services, or for costing systems.
